Ever been to a wine tasting event? Did you know that the small, delicate French pastries called Macarons are received on the palette much like fine wine?
Join Teatrix Penelope Proper on a tasting journey like no other into the gourmet world of French macarons. Hosted by the Mad Harlot Tea Society and Celebrate St. James, featuring macarons by Macaron Paris NYC, this day will feature a menu of 6 exotic macaron flavors, and pots of tea, expertly paired for taste and flavor to each Macaron, guided tasting with Ms. Proper, lively discussion, raffles and a little treat to take home.
Seating for this elite event is extremely limited, reservations require payment to be held.

A Gothic Alice Tea Party comes to Evil Expo: A Celebration of Glorious Villainy!
Join the Teatrix of Long Island, Ms Penelope Proper for A scrumptious three course Royal Tea Experience fit for the Queen of Hearts in us all!! Experience a Dark Alice in Wonderland themed Tea extravaganza and enjoy a party Specially Catered. “Off With Their Heads!!”...is what you’ll be saying to yourself if you miss this!!! Seats are quite limited! Only 30 seats, Ms. Penelope asks that guests be of ages 13 and up, to observe proper Tea Party Etiquette. Yes, you may certainly come in costume if you wish! Prizes given for the best Gothic Alice in Wonderland costumes and hat, games and prizes.

The Harlot's Walk
Every So often the Mad Harlot Tea Society participates in what we call a "Harlot's Walk" where we get dressed up in all our Tea Finery gather at a walkable place or event such as a Long Island harbor town or festival or fair to walk about, meeting and greeting, looking fierce and taking pictures. This usually includes stops at some local shops for tea, coffee and ice cream, petting local pups and joyful socializing. They are often impromptu and posted to our Facebook page. ALL Harlots are welcomed and encouraged to be seen in your finery...Nothing stops traffic like a top hat and bustle!!

Join Ms. Penelope Proper - Teatrix of Long Island, Opas Bakery and Celebrate St. James as they present a very special Royal Tea Party!! Little Ladies Princess Tea Party - A special holiday treat for children ages 6-10! (Children must be accompanied by an adult).
Join us for a sweet and savory menu- Created especially for our Princesses by Long Island's own OPAS Bakery- sure to win the heart of every little princess, featuring fruity drinks, warm and iced tea, sumptuous scones and cream, fresh fruit, savory finger foods, enchanted nibbles and sweet desserts.
As well, an actual Fairytale Princess may just crash the party! You never know what royalty shall arrive!
Story time, swag bags, and a Princess Naming ceremony all round out the experience.
We encourage our little Princesses and Princes ( And their Queens & Kings) to dress up in their favorite royal apparel!!!
